A broad spectrum of characters are created from the most different materials in the Figurenschneider workshop. A first sketch is followed by an exact planning of the puppet with the definition of the needed fabrics and materials.

In finest painstaking work the desired forms are made of foam rubber: whether pig or killer rabbit, whether monsters or the Queen - everything is possible.

After the body, head and limbs are manufactured, it is time to upholster the puppet. Depending upon intended purpose and desired appearance the most different materials and are used: fleece, terry cloth, leather and latex. it can take up to 300 hours to manufacture a single puppet out of foam rubber, fleece and other materials
